Day 2 of Mitchy gambling picks. For those keeping track, or joining in, I started with $140 yesterday, and now have $270. So im charging in for another round of bets, and im gonna school you on a special kind of bet. A parlay. For those familiar, im sorry but im going to explain…
A parlay bet simply means your betting on more than one thing happening. So I can bet $20 that team X will win their game, and I bet the score of the game will be higher than 180. So for me to win in the parlay both things have to happen for me to win. If one of them doesnt hit, i lose the bet, but if both hit the odds were greater so I win more money. Weeeeeeeeeeeee
With that said Im going to start throwing my bets out there for all to view. Praise me… ridicule me… do what you will.
Mitchs Bet: Orlando Magic with +7 1/2 points against Cavaliers $20 bet to win $18.50
So for this game Cleveland will more than likely win the game, so I could bet on them to win but the odds are shitty, so I would have to bet $400 just to win $100… and me no likey. Therefore im betting on the spread. Every game in the series has been close, with the very last shot deciding the game, and during the season the magic won the majority. So my money here is on the Magic to come within 7 1/2 points. So basically if they win, or lose by less than 8 points, I win.
On top of this straight bet I made a parlay bet as well. I bet the Magic with +7 1/2, and I bet the score of both teams in the game would be less than 190. Its a $25 bet to win $65
Mitchs Bet: Red Sox to beat the Minnesota Twins $50 bet to win $38.46
Red Sox look good to win this game with Beckett on the mound. The Red Sox are 13-4 in Josh Beckett’s (4-2, 5.01 ERA) last 17 road games, and the Red sox bullpen has a 2.99 ERA, so really solid. The Twins at home bullpen is over a 5 ERA and the Sox need to win this game to avoid the sweep. Im all over this bet.
With these bets feeling pretty good to me, I decided to parlay a $20 bet on EVERYTHING. Magic +7 1/2, score under 190, and Red sox to win. $20 bet to win $112.

Ok, so my bankroll is down to $243. Fuck you Kevin, and dont bail on me yet Shane. I NEED MORE TIME. I started with $140, and im up $103… the parlay bets hurt me this round.
I bet amounts according to confidence too. I bet more on the red sox because i believed in that more. Just like tomorrow I will bet on the Cincinnati Reds.
